GENUS is an ERP platform used by Amazon Sellers to run their order, inventory, and accounting operations. Our application connects to Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API) so a seller's Amazon orders, inventory levels, and settlement finances flow directly into their GENUS account — alongside their other sales channels, warehouses, and books.
A seller connects their Amazon account to GENUS once via Login with Amazon (LWA). From then on, GENUS uses the following SP-API operations on the seller's behalf, scoped to that seller's own account.
Pulls new Unshipped and Partially Shipped orders via the Orders API and creates matching sales orders in GENUS, distinguishing Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) from Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) so each order routes to the right fulfillment workflow.
For Fulfilled by Merchant orders, requests a Restricted Data Token to retrieve the buyer's shipping address so the seller can generate accurate pack slips and shipping labels from within GENUS.
Pushes the seller's on-hand quantities from GENUS to their Amazon listings via the Listings Items API, so listed availability reflects actual warehouse stock and helps prevent overselling.
Reads Amazon-held FBA inventory levels via the FBA Inventory API and reconciles them against GENUS warehouse stock records, giving the seller one accurate view of inventory across Amazon and their own locations.
Retrieves order and sales metrics via the Sales API to help sellers track order volume and velocity alongside their other sales channels.
Downloads Amazon settlement reports via the Finances and Reports APIs and posts the seller's sales, refunds, advertising fees, and service fees directly into their GENUS general ledger and accounts receivable — removing manual settlement reconciliation.
Every connection is authorized directly by the seller and scoped to their own Amazon account.
The seller connects their Amazon Seller Central account to GENUS using Login with Amazon (LWA), granting the SP-API roles GENUS needs to operate on their behalf.
GENUS imports new orders and reconciles FBA/FBM inventory levels, keeping the seller's order queue and stock counts current inside their ERP.
FBM orders are picked, packed, and shipped using the buyer address retrieved from Amazon; FBA orders are tracked through Amazon's own fulfillment network.
Settlement reports are imported and posted to the seller's ledger, so Amazon revenue, fees, and payouts reconcile against the rest of their business.
Order details and, for FBM orders only, the buyer's shipping address — retrieved via Amazon's Restricted Data Token flow solely to fulfill that order. This data is used for order fulfillment and is not sold or used for marketing.
FBA inventory quantities and listing-level availability, used to keep the seller's stock records and Amazon listings in sync.
Settlement report data (sales, refunds, and fees), used to post accurate financial records into the seller's own general ledger.
Each seller authorizes GENUS independently through Login with Amazon. Credentials and data for one seller are never accessible to another.
